Hi, I’m Amlet!  I’ve been at the shelter for a while, and I’ve used my time here to truly blossom.  When I first arrived, I was shy with people, but boy has that changed.  Now I like the volunteers and I like it when kids come to visit too.  I am a gentle soul who is thankful to have people around who want to spend time with me.  But do you know what I really like to do?  Play ball!  All day long in the outdoor area, at the beach, anywhere you want.  I’ll chase the ball, bring it back, play tug with it, whatever the game is with that ball.  Just the thought of playing ball makes me happy enough to show you my long, wide tongue.  I’ll play other games too if you’d like, puzzles are fun.  Let’s play some ball, enjoy some treats together, and maybe snuggle a little too.

My previous life wasn’t great. I was kept in very poor conditions, on a chain all day and didn’t get the chance to socialize with people or other dogs.  I have blossomed at the shelter and I/m ready to have a family and home of my own. Let’s be best friends, I promise to be a proud and fun member of your family.
