Hello friends, my name is Amlet. I am a gentle-natured, friendly Labrador cross of around 5 years old.

I’m not a big fan of stereotypes, but I do have one very typical Labrador trait. I love food!! As a matter of fact: I am a real foodie. And it’s a badge I wear with honour. 😉

I spent my entire life on a chain, being given only the bare minimum of food and water. But I got lucky one day, because a kind-hearted person saw me and alerted the vet, who in turn called a rescue team to get me out of there. After getting a thorough medical examination, I could move to the shelter. Here I was able to see how I deserve to be treated: with love and respect.

Because of my past, I have missed out on a lot of things in life. Not only yummy food and treats, but also being able to meet and spend time with friends, exploring my environment, going on walks, …

But now it’s to change all that with the help of the human friends that will also become my family. That’s right, I am looking for a forever home! A home where I can show off my sweet personality and cuddle skills (and my fluffy tail 😊). A home where I can create lots of new happy memories.

My relaxed personality also reflects the type of home I am looking for. I would prefer a more quiet home. I would also like to be the only dog in the house. Again, because of my past, I was never able to experience the undivided and caring attention of my family. So being able to enjoy that is something that is very high on my wish list.

I can’t wait to pack my bags and join my new family. ❤️
