Hi, I’m Aiden, a very sweet, friendly and fun little guy, but in a calm way. I’m a handsome cross and I am almost 4 years old.

My caregivers only have positive things to say about me. Not only about my beautiful loving face, but also about my endearing and lovable personality.

I get along well with other dogs, but I also love getting attention from my human friends. I like to stay close to them for cuddles and treats, even when I am at the playground.

That kink in my tail is because it was broken, but don’t you think it even makes me look even more adorable:)
I have a big heart and plenty of love to give. Sadly my human family deserted me, they didn’t want me anymore once they found out I was sick.

I was bitten by a sandfly and got leishmania for which I received treatment for and is now dormant and under control. Leishmania is controllable and NOT life shortening if monitored correctly, I do need to take inexpensive medication every day of my life to make sure that the disease stays dormant and under control. My rescuers are very knowledgeable on this leishmania disease which is not transmittable and they tell me not to worry at all because with blood tests twice a year to monitor treatment, I will live a long and happy life!

The only thing that is missing at the moment is a loving family to share that life with.
