Hello friends, my name is Arktos. Although Teddy probably would have been a better fit, because I really am a big teddy bear. If you love lots of cuddles and great company, then I am the perfect match for you.

Here at the shelter I am known for my calm energy and gentle nature. And my extremely loving personality of course! 😊

That’s right, I never lost my soft side. After I was rescued from an overcrowded kill shelter, I was a bit scared, flinching a bit at certain touches. This showed that I haven’t always had an easy life and that I probably suffered some abuse. But once I realized that I was safe here at the shelter, the teddy bear in me resurfaced again. A quality that I would love to share with the world (including my doggy friends), but especially with my family in my forever home.

What else can my family expect from me, besides lots of love and cuddles? I am a kind, loyal and social companion who likes to go on walks, but who isn’t super active. No marathon walks for this boy. (It doesn’t match well with calm energy anyway. 😉)
