Hello, my name is Bartolo. If I had to describe myself in a few words, I would say: happy, very sweet, social and proud. That’s right, I am a proud dog. Proud of myself for the transformation I have undergone. 😊

I was rescued from the house of a hoarder where I lived in horrible circumstances. So when I arrived at the shelter, I was very scared of people. But over time, I learned to trust humans. Up to the point where I am now asking them to cuddle me.

My caretakers say that I am a typical Pinscher: loyal, curious and very smart. (They forgot to add ‘handsome’ 😉)  I have already learned how to walk on a lead and I’m well on my way to become a real cuddle champion, but there are still several other things I will need to learn.

So I am hoping to find human friends who are not only willing to give me a forever home, but are also willing to help me learn everything I still need (and want) to know. People who will shower me with love and see both my inner and outer beauty.
