Hello, I am ELKE💖, an adorable and gentle sweetie. I celebrated my 3^rd birthday in December, but it’s my biggest wish to celebrate the next special occasion in my forever home.

This is my story. I was found highly pregnant by workers on a farm where I had sought protection to have my babies. The farm workers took good care of my puppies and me, but sadly we couldn’t stay there long-term and they phoned the shelter for help.

I was very scared of humans when I was rescued, but after a few weeks in the shelter I’m already starting to blossom into a sweet and gentle girl that loves to cuddle with the shelter helpers. I really enjoy spending time with my human and 4 legged friends. I even get along with cats. (‘Amazing’ was the word that was used after my cat test😻)

My children have now found a place they can call home and hopefully I’ll soon be able to say the same! With my charming sweet and gentle personality, I wrap everyone around my paw.
