Are you looking for everything a wonderful companion has to offer, being affectionate, good with other pets and children, cheerful and friendly? Do not look any further and let me introduce myself. I am Giannis, a 3 year old beagle cross, who loves humans, other dogs and cats alike. I am a super happy dog and I love giving little kisses to my carers. They describe me as being amazing and I do believe every word they say. I was rescued a year ago from bad living conditions and it didn’t take me long to adjust to shelter life with the other dogs. I am now ready to find my forever home.

There is one more thing you need to know about me and it won’t make any difference to our friendship and lifetime happiness together. I was bitten by a sandfly and got leishmania for which I received treatment and it is now dormant and under control. Leishmania is controllable and non transmittable. It is not life shortening if monitored correctly via blood tests. I do need to take inexpensive medication to make sure that the disease stays dormant and under control. My rescuers are very knowledgeable on this and can guide my family through.
