Hello, I am Iris, a fun-loving, sweet, gentle girl.

The first family I lived with probably abandoned me because of my eye. As you can see, I was born with only one eye. But that doesn’t hold me back in any way. Still, if was reason enough for some people to mistreat me and even shoot me.

I am now living with a foster family, but the time has come for me to find a loving forever home.

I would love to find a home where there is plenty of time for playing games. (I’m still as playful as a little puppy.) And it would be even greater if there was already living at least one other confident and playful doggy friend. I love being in the company of other dogs.
But don’t worry, I like spending quality time with my human friends as well. You’ll just have to give me some time to get used to my new surroundings. I will be a bit timid at first, but that will pass quickly.

My biggest wish is to find a forever home where my human friends will see how beautiful I really am, both inside and out.

Note: Iris is still timid and needs to build some confidence, we therefore prefer families without children or with older children, preferably with another dog and a garden to explore.
