Hello everybody, I am Jake, a handsome, loving and social boy. I only weigh 15-16 kgs, but those are just details.
More importantly is that my caregivers say that I am the most loving boy you will ever meet. The kind of dog that will definitely pull your heartstrings.

I am not only incredibly loving towards people and other dogs (I even like cats!), I also respond well to training.
So be prepared to get lots of compliments about me. Not only about my charming personality, but also about the beautiful pattern on my fur coat.

There isn’t much known about my past, only that I was brought to the vet to be put to sleep. Luckily I was rescued. And that I was bitten by a sandfly and got leishmania for which I received treatment and it is now dormant and under control. Leishmania is controllable and NOT life shortening if monitored correctly, I do need to take inexpensive medication to make sure that the disease stays dormant and under control. My rescuers are very knowledgeable on this leishmania disease which is not transmittable and they tell me not to worry at all because with blood tests to monitor treatment, I will live a long and happy life!
You will most certainly find a sweet and loyal friend for life in me. A friend who loves to spend quality time together and who is always ready to give and receive cuddles.
