Hi, I am Jharna. I am a very gentle, calm and friendly rescue dog, looking for a loving home where I can spend some golden years filled with love, joy and wonderful moments full of happiness and belonging. I am still full of energy and I love nothing more than to run and play with the other dogs in my group and afterwards get lots of cuddles and hugs from the volunteers. I am getting on well with all of them and I enjoy their company very much. And when it is time for some exercise, I show real talent for fetching a ball and returning it to the volunteers. I am sure we too will have a great time playing together and on hot days having a bath afterwards.There is a plastic shell with water at the playground and I just love to dip in for some cooling off.

My past has been less joyful. My previous owner most likely used me for breeding and due to my age I was of no use to him anymore. I was lucky to be found in the middle of nowhere by a couple of hikers who took me with them to the vet and from there I reached my interim home, the shelter. I have settled in and I am now ready for my forever home. I will make a great companion for all sorts of activities and adventures and a great cuddle partner for the relaxing moments at home.
