Hi, I am Lazlo. People say that there is something special about me that makes them instantly fall in love with me. I don’t know whether it is my calm and gentle character or the fact that I love to cuddle with them and share my joy of life. I am simply happy to have been rescued from a farm where I lived under very bad conditions. At the shelter I was being looked after and I had fresh water and food every day. I adapted quickly to the new situation and being in the company of other dogs just made my day. The same was true for the volunteers. I adored them and I enjoyed every single minute that we spent together. One of the volunteers brought her child to the shelter and it makes me so proud that they say I have been amazing with her and will make a great family dog. Being kind to everybody and sharing love with all my friends is just who I am.

I was very lucky and flew to a foster home in Belgium at the beginning of December 2024. I love my foster family and I am so happy to share what they are saying about me: ‘He is the sweetest dog ever, a fast learner, very attached to his family and so loving. He is very kind and gentle to strangers, respectful and not jumping on them. He is good with children and respectfully gives them space. He can still be a little shy when meeting new people. He loves his walks and he is good when meeting other dogs’. While I do love my foster family very much, it is not the same as having a forever home. I am ready to meet my new family and I am very much looking forward to it.
