Hello dear people, I am Marita. My caretakers here at the shelters say that it’s hard to decide what is more beautiful: my looks or my personality. In order to make it easier, we’ll just say that I am beautiful inside and out. 😊

Sweet and gentle are definitely two words that can’t be forgotten when you are describing my character. Even though life hasn’t always been kind to me (I was rescued from a kill shelter), I didn’t let it turn my heart cold.

I’m also a typical Pointer in the sense that I am not only a gentle, sensitive & loving dog, but I’m also a real cuddle bunny. I love cuddles! So don’t say that I didn’t warn you. 😉

Something I am looking forward to, besides spending lots of quality time with my human and doggy friends, is going on all kinds of adventures. Because of my time in the kill shelter, I haven’t been able yet to explore many different surroundings. So there is still plenty for me to see and learn.

But I know that I can do this with the help of a loving family by my side.
