Hello dear people, I am Mayia. A sweet name for a sweet girl like me. 😊

That’s right: I am a real sweetheart who is known to leave paw prints on the hearts of everyone I meet. 🐾❤️

Unfortunately the family I used to live with didn’t share this opinion. I lived with them for a total of 6 years, but after a while they started to lose their interest in me. At one point I was no longer allowed to live inside and I ended up on the balcony. This was a very lonely time for me, especially because I truly enjoy spending time with my human friends. I also love cuddles! 😊

Eventually I moved to the shelter and although the people there took good care of me and I was able to spend time with doggy friends, I missed having a forever home. I missed being part of a loving family.

So I moved to a foster home. That was already a step in the right direction, but a forever home is still my biggest dream. And I have lots to offer: I’m not only super adorable, but I also have an amazingly gentle and sweet personality. I’m a social girl, which means that I get along with both humans and other dogs. In other words, I’m a wonderful addition to my new family.

Unfortunately being abandoned by my family wasn’t the only bad luck I had to endure. I was recently diagnosed with epilepsy. I have been thoroughly examined and I now take medication which keeps me seizure free.

So I am ready to pack my bags and to show the world, but especially my new family members, how wonderful I truly am. 😊
