Hi, I am Nani and I am a doggie with a heart of gold. With my great personality I will bring never ending sunshine and love into your home. I am so happy when I meet people that my tail can’t stop wagging, I just love cuddles and belly rubs. I don’t really want to describe myself as a lap dog, but that’s exactly what I am 🙂 I want to be close to people and get as many cuddles as I possibly can. With my little kisses I can make you laugh and there is so much we will enjoy together. My happiness is bubbling over, it is infectious to everyone around me.

There isn’t much known about my past. I was rescued from a killing station and adapted quickly to shelter life and then to my foster home. I was very lucky and travelled to a wonderful foster home in the North of Germany. My foster family describes me as a calm, content and cuddly dog who is happy to accompany them everywhere, whether by car or by foot. If I could choose, I would prefer finding a quieter home where I can relax, play and enjoy life. Being around my family just makes me happy and I know that I will make them very happy too.

Just before my flight to my foster home, an irregularity with my heart was discovered. An ultrasound confirmed a mitral valve insufficiency, which is being treated with ‘Vetmedin’. I need to take tablets in the morning and evening. They cost around 20 € a month. I respond well to the treatment and it doesn’t impact me at all. I enjoy life to the fullest and I look forward to the moment we can enjoy life together with sunshine, love and lots of belly rubs.
