Hello dear people, my name is Palmer and I am super happy that you’re taking the time to read my story. Why? Because I am ready to show the whole world my amazing personality, my handsome looks … and to find a forever home, of course. 😊

My happy personality forms a big contrast with my past. I used to be a hunting dog, but at one point I was abandoned and ended up in a kill shelter. As a result I became very shy and even a bit scared. But all the love that I received from the helpers here at the shelter made me blossom again into the gentle, pleasant and loyal companion that I am.

I am not only known for my absolutely loving character, but also for my cuddles. The more, the better!!

Something else I really love is spending time with my friends. (Both my human and my doggy friends, just to be clear 😊.)

So I hope to find a family who loves to spend quality time together. And it will be even more fun if they share my love for an active lifestyle. Being outdoors and going on all kinds of adventures, that’s my idea of fun. Next to cuddle time and enjoying treats. 😉

The fact that I love an active lifestyle doesn’t mean that I have an hyperactive personality. Being the ringleader of the group isn’t really my thing. I am known for my calm and gentle character.
