Hi, I am Rou. I am a gentle, kind and loving rescue dog who gets on well with everyone, people, dogs and cats alike. I was actually found as a stray in a village, playing with the village cats. It touched the heart of my rescuer and she fell in love with me instantly. She secured a place for me at the shelter from which I am now looking for my forever home. At the shelter I especially enjoy the time with the volunteers when they are taking us out for some play, cuddle and treat time. They say that I am friendly, soft and sweet. I might still be a bit shy of meeting new people, but I do quickly warm up to them once we get to know each other.

I will be a perfect companion to someone looking for a loyal friend and activity partner. I am looking forward to all the little adventures, walks, exploring and learning with each other while building a long lasting bond of trust and love. At the shelter I like sniffing around the playground and discovering the smells of all the other dogs and getting some gentle cuddles from the volunteers. I also love my toys and I proudly carry them around. I am sure we can find many things that we will both enjoy together very much and I can’t wait to start my new family life.
