Hi, I am Jamie. I am a sweet and loving elderly rescue cat looking for a retirement sofa where I can spend my days relaxed and happy in a home filled with love and joy. I like to be around people and I enjoy their company, either by watching what is going on or by asking for attention and gentle affection. When they are sitting down on a sofa I like to hop on cuddle up and simply be close by. I am quite independent and my many years on the streets having to defend myself made it not easy for me to relax and sometimes I can be a bit overwhelmed when there is too much going on at once. That is why I am looking for a quiet home with someone who understands me and is happy to let me ask for attention and cuddles on my own terms; someone who is at home a lot and enjoys being together and being there for each other.

I have most likely seen and experienced a lot in my life and my past hasn’t always been easy. I was rescued from the streets with a severe ear infection, skinny and overall in bad condition. I spent some time at the vet clinic going through all kinds of tests for a full health assessment. The ear infection turned out to be so bad that one of the ear canals had to be removed. In addition all my remaining teeth had to be removed. I recovered well and I received a clean bill of health from the vet clinic. My stomach is a bit sensitive and I need easily digestible food and several small portions a day instead of two big ones. I am a real foodie and I love freshly cooked chicken.

My foster mom says that I am a super sweet cat ready for my retirement home. I would prefer to be the only princess in the house, but I can share a home with other pets of equal character. Due to being deaf in one ear, I am looking for an indoor home or a home with a secured garden. I like to be indoors. After so many years out in the streets, I want to be inside and I only go sit outside on the patio when my foster mom is there too.
